Endurance Test Rigs for endurance performance test of All types of Prime movers such as Motors, Gear Transmissions, Engines, Hand Tools Motors like, Drill Machine Motors, Cutting Machines Motors, Grinding Machines Motors, Buffing & Polishing Machine Motors, Blowers Motors etc, Appliances like Mixers, Grinders, Fan motors etc.

Endurance Test Rig carries out detailed performance studies on all types of Prime movers, Electrically driven or Pneumatic & Hydraulic driven prime movers.

Endurance Test Rig are put through Low Speed – High Torque, High Speed – Low Torque or medium duty speeds & Torques tests. Loading arrangement in such applications should be capable of exerting the rated torque right from Zero Speeds up to the Rated Speed of the device under test OR at High speed/ near rated Speed at desired Torque of the device under test.

 Eddy current dynamometers are capable of high speeds upto 18000 RPM and are popular for power dissipating capability, but they need a minimum slip of above 300 rpm to exert the rated torque.

 Powder dynamometers have an excellent control of Torque in the Low Speed region right from Zero Speed. However, they are not suitable for high speed, more than 600-800 RPM, and high power applications more than 160 KW..

To meet this challenging requirement, a tandem dynamometer including a powder dynamometer to exert braking torque at low speeds and an eddy current dynamometer to exert braking torque in the high speeds is effectively used in the test bench with an automatic changeover.

 

The mounting structure to accommodate the device under test, Torque & Speed transducer and Dynamometers is a sturdy mechanical structure designed for low vibrations. Safety guards for all the rotating elements are provided on the test bed with interlocks for safe operation. Test bed with T slot having X, Y & Z adjustment for Length, Width & Height adjustments is also offered along endurance test rig.

For High Torque Low Speed applications - Powder dynamometer are recommended.

For High Speed – Eddy Current Dynamometers are recommended.

For applications that requires Torque Loading from Zero speed to high speeds, 0 – 18000 Rom speed range – Tandem Dynamometer, are offered.

Tandem Dynamometer is consisting of a powder dynamometer in tandem with an eddy current Dynamometer mounted on a common structure with necessary transducers for measurement of test parameters. Powder dynamometer provides loading in the low speed region and eddy current dynamometer provides loading in the high-speed region with automatic changeover.

To monitor the load torque applied on the device under test, a high accuracy in line brush-less rotating transducer or reaction type torque sensor  is used..

High accuracy optical infra red speed sensor  is coupled to the non-driven end of the dynamometer shaft for Speed measurements.

Our Proprietary APPSYS MOTOR TEST /  APPSYS ENGINE TEST / APPSYS GEAR TRANSMISSION TEST / APPSYS ACTUATOR TEST software developed to endurance performance test along with other parameter measurements like, Temperatures, Pressure, Flow Electrical Input Parameters, Fuel measurements etc are also provided.
